It’s not just for elite runners! Recent advances in 3D running analysis allow this technology to serve runners and athletes of all abilities. You will gain the knowledge and insight needed to develop your running form, and perfect your technique with drills aimed at running further and faster. Runners will see and feel instant results in 2-3 weeks.  At The Running Lab, together we develop a personalized plan to make the changes you need. In most sports athletes spend hours practicing their technique– swinging a bat or a golf club, perfecting the swimming stroke, kicking the soccer ball and scoring a goal.

What to expect

The initial 3D Running Assessment is a 60-90 minute evaluation. We discuss your current, past, and upcoming training  as well as any current and prior injuries. Then we perform a comprehensive musculoskeletal runner readiness assessment and take a 3D video of your running.  Compiling this intellegence, we develop your unique program. Expect follow up appointments to last approximately one hour.

  • 3D Running Evaluation : Please wear tight fitted shorts or leggings, running shoes, and a fitted shirt or tank top. We will be placing 18 markers on your lower back, hips, legs and shoes. We don’t want the markers moving on loose clothing.
     
  • Lower Extremity Evaluation and Treatment: Please bring shorts.
     
  • Upper Extremity and Spine Evaluation and Treatment: Please bring a sports bra, tank top/camisole/shirt.
